Hello from Greece. I am using your great app in an old Samsung A3 2017 (2GB RAM) with ported Android 10 ROM from A7 2018. I chose it for my phone because it was smaller and lighter than heavy apps like Tasker or Macrodroid.
I have made some simple automations and I am very satisfied till now. I want to ask you though, if there is a way to speak loud the name of someone who is calling me IF this number is stored as a contact of mine. Ideally, I would like to have it repeat the caller name 4 times with 2 seconds break between them.
I tried the "Speak text" action but I don't know the variable I should use in order to import the name from my contacts. Can someone help me with that rule? I don't want to use an external app for this job, because almost all of them come with ads and in-app purchaces. Thank you in advance.
Speak loud incoming caller name.
Re: Speak loud incoming caller name.
Currently there that is not possible directly. With a single rule you could only speak the phone number (so numerically).
If you can boil it down to a handful of specific contacts you could create one rule per contact, use that contact's number as a trigger and have the app speak the contact's name that you specify in the action.
